COVID-19: Information for Customers
We would like to inform you about the current situation in terms of the supply of Cornilleau products during COVID-19.
In March, Cornilleau stopped production to ensure the safety of their workforce. Production resumed in April but with new regimes to ensure the safety of their employees. However, this has involved considerably reducing the number of people on site, primarily using automated production lines, which has resulted in a reduced output.
UK Availability of Table Tennis Tables
The spring/summer period is always busy for table tennis but the current demand is higher than usual. Due to being closed for several weeks and new working practices, Cornilleau are not able to supply the quantity of tables we require at this time.
We are currently only being allocated around 40% of our normal sales volume for this time of year so it is impossible to meet the demand.
From the beginning of June, stock will start to arrive at our UK warehouse on a more regular basis. However, supply is extremely limited and demand exceeds supply on a ratio of approximately 10:1.
In order to receive a notification when stock is released for sale, please register your interest on the product page using the 'Notify me when available' button. When stock is added to the site, you will be sent an email but please be mindful that when this happens, the available stock will probably sell out within 15-30 minutes.
UK Availability of Accessories
We are still able to fulfil orders for accessories although a small number of products are currently unavailable (these are marked out of stock on our website). However, demand is high and at times we may temporarily run out of stock while waiting for new stock to arrive, resulting in delays in dispatch of 2-3 days. Most accessories are sent using Royal Mail and lead times are currently extended due to high volumes and a reduced workforce.
