Table Flatness
All table tennis tables are manufactured to an agreed standard which is set out in the European Norm 14468-1 and this allows a certain level of tolerance in terms of the flatness of the board. This varies depending on the ‘class’ of the table. Please see details below:
Class A (High Competition): 4mm
Class B (Schools & Clubs): 7mm
Class C (Recreational Sports - High Quality): 10mm
Class D (Recreational Sports): 15mm
The correct way to measure the flatness of the top is to lay a piece of wood or spirit level diagonally across the playing surface and measure the gap between the wood and the playing surface. This should not exceed the tolerance level for your class of table. You can find the class of table on cover page of the assembly instructions and in the summary table at the bottom of the product listing on this website.
For all warranty claims we need the reference and serial number for your table. This can be found on a small white sticker on the underside of one of the tops.
Please send us an email describing the defect together with some photos and the reference/serial number for your table so that we can assess your warranty claim.
